Industrial valves

A valve can be defined as a device used to introduce or retain a fluid under pressure in a closed system, or to remove the fluid from that system.

Frequent applications include pressure accumulators, gas springs, expansion tanks for heating systems, etc.

In this case, a valve normally comprises the following elements:

  • a stem;
  • a core;
  • a cap.
